5 out of 5 stars Awesome!   May 12, 2007

I am a shorthand reporter, and I need to travel to a lot of different places. I am very poor with directions. The Nuvi is so helpful with alternate route option and traffic alert. There are so many great features on this model.
I am extremely glad my husband bought this for me!

5 out of 5 stars Outstanding Navigation Product   May 11, 2007

Excellent graphics on a large screen, clear voice prompts, extremely easy to learn how to use, and includes everything you need to mount, power, and throw away all your maps and stop wasting time printing out directions from online sources. If you have trouble with directions while driving, and want extra features, this is a great, although pricey, option. For my wife and I, it was worth it.

After much research, I'm so glad I went with the 660. It has certainly lived up to my expectations. The wide screen is great. And the traffic updates have helped me tremendously! Great product!

5 out of 5 stars Miracle Nuvi   May 7, 2007

I love my Nuvi. It's given me a whole new lease on traveling. That great voice telling me just where to go. I couldn't be happier. I did have the help of 2 "Rocket Scientists". One on what to order and the other to help me program it. I am now feeling very comfortable with my "Miracle" Nuvi and am willing to go "where no man has gone before". Thanks for a great product.

A grateful Nuvi User

3 out of 5 stars Good product but hard to secure in car in California   May 7, 2007

I like the product but in California it is illegal to use the mounting that has suction cup stuck to the windshield. And mounting it on dashboard also obscures the driver's vision and is not secure anyway. I end up placing it in a little open compartment of the console between the two front seats. I can't see it but I can hear the directions. So far it is adequate but far from ideal.

In terms of the product itself, it sometimes gives me odd instructions, as when I recently drove south from Los Angeles to a place east of the 405 freeway and north of San Diego. It instructed me to leave the 405 sooner than I knew was prudent. I ignored the instructions and it did correct itself. But had I been unfamiliar with the area, I'd have been routed to an inconvenient way to get to my destination.
