5 out of 5 stars Easy to use   April 29, 2008

To me this is s very easy unit to use. It has been helpful serval different times. The FM transmitter is weak very weak but this does not bother me, I never really use it to play anything in my car. I am happy with the mount it comes with. The wife likes the different icons you can change to for a car on the screen. Over all very happen with the unit.

4 out of 5 stars Excellent GPS, but with some flaws   April 29, 2008

Alice (as I have named my GPS) is pleasant to deal with. Her verbal instructions are clear and loud, without having to use my radio's speakers, and her screen is bright enough in all conditions. However, the map is not as up-to-date as I would like, and she doesn't know some addresses that have been around for a long time. It may just be that I haven't found the function yet (less than one month), but I would like a "points of interest" function, like airports and zoos, without having to locate their addresses. She is best for long distances: sometimes she gives me excessive routing for short distances to get on highways. However, she always gets me there. Since I don't always follow her directions for short distances, her favorite word is "recalculating".

5 out of 5 stars Garmin 660 is great   April 28, 2008

I upgraded to the 660 from the 650, and Love it. the Blue tooth sync'd to my phone flawlessly and is a great feature, Not only can you make and take calls hands free..but you can one touch dial any business that is in your Garmin. Such as if you bring up a restaurant you can one touch dial and get reservations...and Garmin will already have your ETA .. The MP3 player also is a great touch. The only drawback is the FM modulator is weak But I guess the FCC limits that. It is great is you use a line in jack into your radio.
I would Highly recommend a 660 for someone that travels. I drive a School Bus and love it on trips..

5 out of 5 stars lost at the first week.   April 28, 2008

The GPS is good, but lost at the first week. Don't put anything on dashboard that make anyone think there is GPS in the car.
