I am a very satisfied customer even though my use of the Garmin 660 so far has been limited. I am happy I spent additional money to get a larger (4.3") screen. It shows up well in the sunlight too. The device is user friendly after a minimum amount of reading. I am about to go on a trip and have placed all stops into the Garmin while home and look forward to a faultless trip as far as directions. Some things are not intuitive (like the traffic warning capability) but the basics are. I really like it as do my two sons who are not necessarily easy to please; one a computer whiz and one a Navy Captain. I bought my Garmin after thay both purchased one.
Product improvement? Make the printed instructions in greater detail and more comprehensive. The printed instructions are intended to be placed in the leather case but they are too wide to be inserted.

THIS LITTLE NAVIGATOR IS GREAT. VERY FAST SATILLITE ACQUISITION, VERY ACCURATE ROUTING AND MAPPING. MP3 SOUND GREAT WITH EARPHONES AND YOU CAN PUT IN A WHOLE SD CARD FULL OF YOUR FAVORITE MP3'S. ROUTE RECALCULATIONS ARE FAST AND ACCURATE. MAKE SURE YOU GET LATEST SOFTWARE AND FIRMWARE DOWNLOADS FREE FROM GARMIN. ALSO, GET MAPSOURCE SOFTWARE FOR YOU COMPUTER AS IT MAKES IT EVEN EASIER TO FIND WAYPOINT DESTINATIONS.

Garmin nüvi 660 4.3-Inch Widescreen Bluetooth Portable GPS Navigator I am very happy with this GPS. Performs much better than expected. A snap to use - very intuitive. I updated it's memory on line thru my computer without incident. The choice of voices is fun. I paired it with my cell phone without a problem. My address book automatically transferred to the GPS (a pleasant surprise). Gets us where we want to go with clear voice prompts, in addition to the on-screen map. I like the way it gives us clear directions in advance of each turn, and again at the turn itself. There is no way you can miss the turn, or misunderstand the oral directions. I set the GPS up on my dash, rather than on the windshield, so I could lay a cloth over the attachment disk, when I remove the GPS, so the disk will not be a telltale attraction to thiefs to break into the car to steal the GPS.
