| Customer Reviews:
Great buy! July 26, 2008 I bought these earbuds because the reviews were so complimentary of them--and I was not disappointed! Although they don't silence outside noise, they do what they're supposed to and reduce ambient sound. I can listen to my iPod at a much lower volume setting than with Apple earbuds.
These earbuds are also very comfortable. I (and folks I share my iPod with) can use them for as long as I want without any fatigue. And the three different sizes of earbud tips allow a good fit for anyone. The cord connecting the two buds can also be pulled apart all the way to the jack, so I can share listening with someone else even if we're sitting far apart.
I have absolutely no complaints about this product!
best 20 buck buds July 26, 2008 I have a pair of JBuds and a pair of Shure SCL4 earphones. I bought them to replace my iPod earphones, which lacked bass and were not comfortable. I have been using the JBud and Shure earphones for the past 3 months. The JBuds deliver more bass than the iPod earphones, although they also dampen the treble at the same time. The JBuds fit firmly and comfortably in the ears. The Shure earphones also provide more bass than iPod's earphones, but they also maintain superior treble sounds compared to the JBuds. The Shure also are extremely comfortable. The problem is the price tag. For $20 these JBuds are the best value earphone you will find, period. The Shure earphones cost something like $180, i.e. nine pairs of JBud earphones! If you want more bass and comfort than the iPod earphones, the JBuds are at least the best starting point. Buy these, and then go to an electronics store and compare them to similarly-priced or even more expensive earphones, and you will see the JBuds definitely outperform their competition.
goood product July 24, 2008 i like these, they are good ear buds. i use them nearly EveryDay on my ipod. the sound is good, and they hold up nicely. ive only had to replace them once and that aint bad considering how much i use them. ive bought several different kinds of buds and so far these are best value ive seen for 20 dollars. if ever they need replaced i gladly buy them again
Not a good investment July 24, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I just received these ear buds and I am quite disappointed. I do not expect these to last very long at all. The sound is not the problem for me, it's just that it seems to be of poor quality materials. The cord itself is very, very thin so it's already apparent that the wiring is not very well protected. When I put the plug into my iPod if I even slightly twist the plug while it is in the jack I will get a lot of static. Not worth $20.
Jbuds - Awesome July 24, 2008 These are the best earbuds I have ever used. I can totally screen out the outside noise and ignore the phone if I want. GREAT!
