Excellent, but,,, May 15, 2008 The earbuds themselves are excellent. Good quality sound, and the noise reduction works well (note: that the noise reduction is just from the actual earbuds being very snug in your ear, and not the type of earbuds that have an attached battery). However, after about 5 months of pretty intensive usage, the connection of the wire (when the wire comes to the tip of the input connection) was starting to get poor, rendering the earbuds pretty useless. But like I said, really good earbuds, and I might even buy another pair.
Decent earbuds, so so on the noise reduction part May 15, 2008 They are very decent ear buds in terms of sound quality for the money. The noise reduction, however, was minimal for me. I used a cheap imitation of apple's version of the noise reduction ear buds before these (don't know what model, etc.), and those worked many times better at reducing outside sound. These don't fit so snuggly for me, and don't reduce as much outside sound even when they are positioned as best they can be.
I give them a "B" overall.
Ear Buds May 15, 2008 Finally! An ear bud that fits my ear and works well. Thanks for the great product.
Don't run with it May 14, 2008 So if you think the IPOD ear phone is cheaply made, wait till you see this one. While the sound is alright but the plastic of the "buds" is really flimsy and the wire used is of cheap material. The so called noise reduction feature is no more than the soft rubber tips of the ear buds which block off some outside noise. also if u buy it and intend to use on running - DON'T as you will hear the clicking noise caused by the wire hitting the inside of the hollow shell of the ear phones when you run and it can be louder than your music !!
For me, these are great! May 13, 2008 I have recently bought several other headphones and keep looking for "the ones." I have had probs with other headphones with chord length, comfort and durability. These are the first of the in ear bud types I have tried. I really like them. They come with three sizes of earbuds so you can change them out if they don't stay put very well. The sound is great to me. They do dampen outside noise, which is great to help me focus at work, but not so much that I would feel unsafe or unaware walking around at night. Also, I really liked the chord length since I use them both for my iPod and for my computer, which sits on the floor by my computer. Finally, I prefer the standard Y chord shape rather than the new shape where one side is longer than the other. These have the Y shape. So all around these are my favorite so far. The thing I will be looking for is to see if/when I lose the detachable bud parts, which I have had problems with on other headphones. All in all though, 2 thumbs up.
