4 out of 5 stars Great sound but you have to follow instructions exactly to get it to work with Zune.   July 18, 2008
First of all I bought this device for a much lower price so I am surprised that it's selling for so much more now on Amazon. The sound quality is the best thing about these speakers but they're a little quirky when you have to operate them. You have to follow the sequence of plugging it in and then turning on Zune to make it work with your Zune.

The remote is a little finicky too, all it does is operate the speaker and turn the volume up or down. It does not provide controls for Zune. It would have been nice to be able to skip to the next song. Still at the sub 100 price I paid for it this was a great purchase for my older Zune. For the new slimmer Zunes you'll need to put in a plastic sleeve adapter to make it fit snugly into the port.

5 out of 5 stars Excellent Audio, Nice Design   June 26, 2008
I've got this in my kitchen and absolutely love it. The sound is great, and the remote control makes it convenient to quickly pause it. With the wireless sync capability of the Zune combined with this system, I can get a sync right from the kitchen! The design is great and looks very modern and minimalistic. It would be nice if it had a small clock display somewhere, but that would perhaps not have been as aesthetically pleasing.

1 out of 5 stars Buyer Beware!   June 21, 2008
I unfortunately ignored the other reviews that complained they couldn't get this device to work. I spent 2 days trying and finally gave up and sent it back. Bought the less expensive 414 model instead. That one works and sounds great!

5 out of 5 stars Great for Zune lovers   June 17, 2008
If you have a Zune you must have this. The sound is great for a small unit and all you do in plug the power in, place your Zune into the platform and you are ready to go. Wow. Great for any size room.

4 out of 5 stars Fine piece of equipment   June 11, 2008
I have encountered no problems using this piece of equipment. I purchased this to replace a CD player in my living room as I rarely use CDs anymore. It functions as it should and is powerful enough for my purposes. All that I really had to do is plug the machine in and it was ready for use.

Other users describe issues in which they had to follow a sequence of events in order for the machine to work properly with their zune, and initially I was hesitant to make the purchase, but, upon receipt of these speakers, I did not encounter any of those problems.

The only issue I had was with the remote. I inserted the battery and the remote still would not work. My husband removed the side tabs on the pull-out plastic piece that holds the battery in place and now the remote works just fine.
