This is a great pedometer! It was recommended on my weight loss site and I'm so glad I took their advice. I previously purchased several of the cheapy ones available locally and found them to be inaccurate, and my friends experienced the same thing. But this pedometer... I can't say enough good about it. It not only accurately records your steps, it tracks aerobic steps separate from regular walking and calcuates calories and fat burned! It knows when to start recording a new event or a new day... and it all easily uploads into your computer so you can set goals for yourself and view your progress daily, weekly, etc. It also will record his activity from within your purse or pocket, although the way I normally use it is to clip it to the top of pants. Can't say enough good about it... highly recommended for the serious walker who is truly trying to record their steps, reach goals and see where improvements can be made. :) It's definitely worth the price and Amazon is the only place I could find this little jewel, as none of the sports stores in my area had it. Way to go Amazon! :)
Excellent product August 31, 2007
I had a different pedometer that kept falling off my belt and eventually broke. As I looked for a new one, I was impressed with the features of the 720 pocket pedometer. Frequently, I wear dresses with no belt line so the pocket and purse feature really made this an excellent buy.

The Pedometer is fairly accruate. The belt clip is way too small to fit a man's belt. They give you a small additional cable and clip to hold the pedometer when it falls off your belt.
I lost my Pedometer at the car dealer and had it returned. Lost it again two days later and it's gone for good.
I would not buy another one just to have it for a week or two.

Great pedometer. I like that it resets at midnight as well as the geek factor of downloading your steps onto your computer. Cool!

Like others, I purchased this pedometer based on customer reviews. It is my 4th pedometer and I am impressed. I checked the accuracy by walking and running and the Omron didn't miss any of the 150 test steps. The software is easy to install and use. Take the suggestion of other reviewers and USE THE SECURITY STRAP. Without it, you will lose this pedometer. Features such as auto reset and accurate separation of walking and aerobic steps makes the Omron a definite good buy.
