Awesome! May 3, 2008 SanDisk 4 GB Cruzer Titanium USB Flash Drive with U3 Well designed and built. It just works the way it was supposed to....and that's pretty rare these days.
I'm a fan May 2, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I have to admit that I'm a fan of these Cruzer titaniums. I read that some people seem to mind the U3 software, but I don't Mind you, sometimes these little drives seem to have senior moments when all your files magically disappear (it's happened to me twice). But this only seems to happen when I'm trying to force the computer to multitask more than it wants to. These titanium cruzers are amazingly solid and strong, and I also like the password protection option. I now have three of these and, all in all, I'm pleased. I'd like to see 10 gig ones, though. I started with a 2 gig one and now must move higher and higher as files become larger and larger. I noticed that there's now an 8 gig one available, and I imagine I'll move up to that at some point.
...and it's not heavy enough to use as a paperweight. April 28, 2008 1 out of 3 found this review helpful
i bought this item because its effulgent no-costs-barred exterior speaks of quality, and i believed it. the U3 software was a nuisance to get rid of (i'm a mac user, and it required that i hunt down a pc-using friend), but i managed. i still have un-deletable crap on the disk, though...apparently i don't have the "privileges" required! and within weeks, the hardware started malfunctioning: once mounted, it was impossible to unmount the disk except by restarting my computer and yanking the cruzer out of the usb port while the system was down. if the computer goes to sleep with the stick in it, all bets are off; click on the icon and you get the spinning wheel of death that heralds whinces and pangs for mac users everywhere. it's actually crashed my (otherwise bulletproof) G4 no fewer than 5 times. my advice to mac users: get a kingston--they're cheaper, and there's no obnoxious self-perpetuating software bundle.

Haven't used this one as of yet, but have another just like it, which works well. I received this item in the promised time.
WOW!! April 15, 2008 WOW! This is a great item. Just used mine for the first time, downloaded some books and could not believe how fast this drive made the download run. It was fast, and I mean fast. Great product, good price. Well worth it.
