It's a flash drive, it just works. It's not the fastest in the world, but you don't really care when you get so much room in such a small drive.
Fast, Reliable and Tons of Space April 12, 2008
I have a couple of 4gb and 8gb flash drives. The problem was that I would have to use more than 1 drive to copy all my files onto. So, I bought this PNY 16gb flash drive and I am glad I did.
I transferred many documents of various file types, countless photos, and 1,400 MP3s to the PNY and still have plenty of free space left over. Copying all these files only took about 20 minutes and there were no corrupt files.
If you have several gb of data to backup and do not want to copy them over more than one flash drive, then this PNY 16gb flash drive is the only way to go. I highly recommend it.

Great product -- I have been using the 16GB stick with a Toshiba and Dell notebook computer -- very fast and the data is reliably transfered. At $145 great product for the money

I bought this item to use with my Sony VAIO notebook (laptop) PC as a Windows Vista "Ready Boost" to enhance performance....it doesn't work! The transfer of files via USB is not stellar. I moved 6.34GB files from notebook PC to this flash drive and it took >25mins. My experience with IE1394 FireWire is much faster when moving files of the same size. The glaring red light is annoying. The cap is easily lost and/or discarded. The $150 price tag was acceptable. Amazon's delivery was amazingly fast as usual.
