5 out of 5 stars Best bang for the buck   May 16, 2008
Before I start my review... few thoughts about compact point and shoot cameras... they should cost less than $200, they should enable you to point-and-shoot using one hand only, and they should snap good quality photos both indoor and outdoor.

This camera satisfies all of the above criterias. But the best feature that I liked is its face detection. If your subject is moving... the face detection square also moves with the subject. Cool, isn't it? And also while watching photos in this camera... if you rotate the camera from horizontal to vertical... the picture rotates also (just like iPhones). And this camera was the CNET editor's choice.

5 out of 5 stars Great camera for my wife.   May 15, 2008
My wife wanted something that was simple, small, and didn't have controls so tiny that she had difficulty with using the controls. This camera is ideal. And, I had given earlier versions to my daughters (in their 20s) and my sister. All love it.

4 out of 5 stars Cute camera   May 15, 2008
I liked this camera for it sleek design, it just slides into my jeans pocket. Its wide screen is really amazing. And yeah its macro point and shoot is really cool. But yes its not front runner for battery performance. Overall a good camera to take and move around for instant snaps.

5 out of 5 stars Better than the SD1000. Do you really need the optical view?!   May 14, 2008
I tried both, and the sd750 is MUCH better. I just feels more rigid and hardy, and the lcd screen is humongous! I think it takes better photos at night, too. Get this one, it's worth the extra couple bucks more.

5 out of 5 stars great quality camera!   May 13, 2008
