Great Quality June 20, 2008 8 gigs, class 6...what more could a girl ask for? This card easily holds all my files with room to spare, and is amazingly fast. Definitely a bargain at this price!
Faster than Kingston June 18, 2008 I have both, this and the Kingston class6 8GB. The Transcend was a little faster on file tranfer in my toshiba notebook. I got some read erros when trying to copy some video made on panasonic tz5, but I format the card in camera and the problems were solved.
Card Locked error so no holiday snaps. June 17, 2008 5 out of 6 found this review helpful
When transferring my holiday pictures to my Vista PC the process hung up, then the PC re-booted (only after I removed the card and allowed some recovery routine to run). Upon re-boot the card was unreadable on the PC, it simply did not see it. I replaced it in the camera and got "Card Locked" even though the locked tab was not in the locked position. Not too impressed with this at all. I've only had the card 2 months, it was really nice when it worked, fast transfers were great. Not sure what caused the problem, ie PC or card, but I've lost some nice wilderness shots/footage.

I returned the card to Transcend and they quickly sent a replacement card, along with an apology and a $5 coupon for their online store. They do seem committed to customer satisfaction which is nice. Shame about the lost data though. I'd rate the card higher now if I could.
Lots of capacity June 16, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
You will need this much capacity if you want to take lots of pictures with your DSLR camera.
Works well with Canon Power Shot SD1100 June 15, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I bought this card for my Canon Powershot SD1100 since the memory card included with the camera only holds less than 32 MB. THIS 8GB baby holds 3000+ pictures with the image quality set to the highest. If you set the image quality to one of the medium settings on the camera (still good quality), it can hold 5000~9999+ depending on which setting its on.
One note though is that when I check the space on my Canon, Windows, and my Mac, it reports the capacity as only 7.5 GB, not 8GB. I'm not sure if this is just because they can't read past 7.5 GB or if the card really only have 7.5 GB, but its still a TON of space so I'm not complaining. Guess they rounded up!
