Great camera May 11, 2008 I love this camera!!! Fits well in my hand but yet the buttons are still large enough that they are not difficult to locate. So easy to use and takes great pictures.
First Digital Camera May 10, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
After reading numerous reveiws I decided to buy this camera. The picture quality is very good. The A/V out digital slot doesn't snap close but I guess I can live with that. Otherwise I think it was a great buy.
Go with the 870 IS wide angle May 10, 2008 I bought this camera for a recent trip to China thinking that the 4x zoom would come in handy. I cannot tell you the number of times I wish I had the wide-angle Canon 870 instead (Great Wall, Terracotta Warriors, Li River, and of course, Shanghai skyline).

GREAT May 9, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Everything about this camera has been really simple so far; the only things i wish i could do is adjust the aperture, it doesn't have a light for the video (but picks up the background light and volume pretty well), and the multiple shot is slow and blurry. Other than that, it is a great and easy to use. It's definitely great for a beginner that is seriously looking into photography. I wanted to get this before i get into the SLRs and haven't regretted it since. I've been shootin like crazy. I have had so much fun with this. The Pics that you can take look great, all in the hands of the owner. Have fun with it, definitely the best point and shoot on the market for the price.
