GREAT product January 21, 2008 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
this works PERFECTLY for me. stick youre SD card in, or youre MICRO sd card (you need an adaptor) and the computer (i have a mac) pics it up imediatly and you are free to copy and move youre pics, music, videos etc onto or off the memory card. it is FAST, flawless, and easy to manage. i bought this to work with my cell phone, the samsung t629, and i was able to transfer my pictures by copying the pics to the memory card, and then transfering the data on the card to the computer through this product. AWESOME
get it.
its thick body doesnt allow use with many front panel usb slots January 18, 2008 2 out of 8 found this review helpful
i read this in other reviews but i was allured by its nice and unique aesthetic appearance and bought it anyway. it really doesnt cater to use with alot of usb slots cuz of the width of the thing, buy another
fast off loads December 28, 2007 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
if you are impatient, get this. it feels like it's 50x's faster than using the camera to transfer photos to your computer. also, you can save money by ordering the 'bulk' version from amazon. i paid less than $3 for this handy plastic gadget.
Reads microSDHC (with adapter)! December 17, 2007 17 out of 17 found this review helpful
It hasn't been easy finding a stand-alone reader that will read SD, SDHC, microSD, and microSDHC (the latter two with adapter, which isn't included). This little beauty does it, and for cheap! Only two very minor caveats:
(1) The body of the reader is a little wide, so make sure you have about 1.25 cm clearance of each side of at least one USB port. (You could also use a USB extension cable, of course.)
(2) It didn't come with a lanyard, and the protective cap is separate, rather than loosely attached like many readers.
Neither of those is a big deal, and I'm so happy to have finally found a simple, portable reader for both my PowerShot card and my Centro card!
