In conjunction with the main power cord iGo power tips are great.
I can use one power adaptor and one car power adaptor for numereous
electonic products like Amazon Kindle, Palm Trea cell phone, SkyCaddie and various other handheld electronics that always seam to need power.

I bought this with the iGo Everywhere PS00252-0003 Universal Wall Charger as a backup AC charger for my Kindle.
It works well. The pieces (charger, cable, tip) fit together snugly.
The main drawback is the combination of charger + retractable cable + tip is getting on for twice the size of the native Kindle charger. But the charger can be used for other devices. It was also available immediately, at a time when there were long backorder delays on Kindle accessories!

The iGo chargers and tips are really great. I use this to charge my cool *NEW* Kindle using my iGo wall charger and iGo mobile charger. They are just great products. I only need one charger to charge all of my electronic devices. Extremely handy & nice.

The itips are a great thing for any igo product. My favorite is the car charger. Think about how annoying it is having a new charger for everything you use in the car if you're a gadget nerd like me... or even if you have a cell phone. These are great because you only have to buy a new itip rather than a whole new charger.
The downside? VERY dangerous to change them when you're driving, but then again... most of those gadgets shouldn't be used when driving anyway.

I have confirmed in practice and using iGo's website that the combination of the iGo Auto PS00227-0005 Universal Auto (DC) charger with this iGo power tip A00 (6600600-01) works to charge my Amazon Kindle in my car. Using iGo's website to confirm this combo enter: select your device=Other, select the brand=Amazon, select the model=Kindle. Also the A00 should work I would think with the iGo Everywhere PS00252-0003 Universal Wall (AC) and Auto (DC) Charger with Retractable Cable although personally I like the original Kindle wall charger.
