 Better than nothing August 25, 2008
I bought my 200W while on vacation in Oregon and it provided fair navigation on the routes I already knew. Silicone Sally took us for several wild goose chases in Las Vegas and in northern Arizona. While I love the large screen and the touch menus, I have experienced extended times to acquire satellites in locations where there was only the clear blue sky. My major beef comes from the online product registration, which indicated that a free update was available - but it wouldn't fit on the device due to the memory requirement. Why would Garmin build an update that won't fit without extended memory or provide sufficient internal memory for all future updates? Further market research indicates that the Magellan 2500T might be a better match for my needs even though I have to settle for a smaller screen.

I bought this GPS because it does everything that I was looking for. It's very easy to use and comes ready right out of the box. It hasn't gotten me lost yet!

A nice wide-screen unit to use at an affordable price. It does not have all the "bells and whistles" of the more expensice units but adequately does the job. We have used it several times since purchasing it and found it to be simple to use. However, you must be patient as it does take some time to find satellites to access your route.
Great GPS for the price August 16, 2008
This has been wonderful. went to tennesse and had no problems getting around. it worked great, widescreen is killer. friend has normal screen and im glad i purchased wide. i love the screen that gives overall details of trip, used it the most. this is a great product and would recoommend for everyone. only thing you don't get is name of street to turn on but i didn't need that feature so bought this one and love it.
