WORKS WITH WINDOWS XP perfectly!! December 20, 2007 I purchased 2 of these keychains as Christmas presents. I wanted to upload some pictures on them before wrapping them for both sets of grandparents. I had no problems installing the software. At first I couldn't open the program on my computer... then I realized I MISSED A STEP! Clearly stated in the instruction booklet, you must click 'Update USB' on the keychain. I did. The program immediately began to work with my Windows XP. I was able to select photos, crop them in the program, and upload them to the device. Each device holds 60 photos. The program itself is VERY user friendly and easy to use. I have no worries about the grandparents figuring it out. This is a GREAT $20 gift! I'm very impressed. My husband wants one now.
well... technically it does work December 20, 2007 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
...but not on the Mac (they ought to take "OS X" off the packaging).
And you have to be in the mood for a fun trial-and-error session, since the documentation, software, and english translation are hilariously bad. For instance, if you ever do get to the point where you've finally transferred photos to the thing you see the strangely perky message "Transfer completely!"

nice product December 19, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I've only had the keychain for a couple of weeks but it is the best gadget I've bought this year. It was simple to set up and stays charged for quite a while. I did use a trick I saw on another review...I put clear packing tape over the screen to keep it from getting scratched. I'll replace the tape after a while...but it still looks good after a few weeks of being on my keychain...tossed around everywhere ! I bought two others for gifts and they've found it very easy to use. Of course...if you are looking for great resolution you won't find it on such a small screen...but it isn't bad enough for me to complain.
$20 is definitely worth it December 19, 2007 I read the reviews of many keychain products out there and found they all have +'s and -'s. I love good bargains so I went with this one. Like others, downloading the software wasn't as easy as it should be, but I followed the tips given by another reviewer and then it worked fine. Don't expect the clarity of pictures seen on your 17" computer screen to be the same on a 1.5" screen, but I think the clarity and colors are good for the size and what you pay. Great gift idea for mom's and grandma's!
