Its everything they said it was. I am amazed. I have windows vista ultimate, the installation was no problem. Everything went smooth, very clear in cam, picture taking is nice, video is wonderful.

Good quality and easy to use December 26, 2007 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I bought this webcam for my 80 something year-old grandparents so we could use video chat software online when I'm not at home. They love it! It was pretty easy to install and we had no problems setting up Skype to use the webcam. The mic quality is great and the picture is excellent quality, as well. Automatic light adjustments on the webcam make it easy for the viewer to see without having to worry about variable lighting conditions. Some stability issues on their flat panel monitor, but as long as you don't touch the camera too much, it's pretty secure. We won't be using any of the silly visual effects that are included in the software, but even the basic functions are simple to use. Great buy!
The QuickCam is a great buy. December 24, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
After paying attention to the warnings of the otehr reviewers about NOT plugging the camera in prior to running the install CD, I have to say that my experience was very fast and painless. The QuickCam is my first web cam, which I purchased for my wife and I to use in overseas communication with friends in the U.K., real-time, and to have for the fun of simply having one if we wanted to use it for something else. Apparently, it will take nearly DVD-quality video direct from the QuickCam, but we've not expiremented with this as of yet. Same thing with still photos. The video sent across using just the basic webcam function is top-notch however, with lighting and color corrections right in the camera before it gets sent to your recipients. The camera angle is wider-angle than some cams I've seen used by friends and people on the net, and generally speaking, I haven't a single complaint against the thing. Well, one thing only, which is sort of trivial. I don't have the web cam mounted on top of my monitor, but beside it, and the base is not exactly super-steady. It'll fall over easily if it gets bumped. Since that's the worst of my problems, I think it's a great purchase.
The Best Web Cam December 24, 2007 The Pro 9000 is the best web cam I ever used. The Image quality is excellent. Works with Vista and was easy to install. I let the kids play with the Video effects and filters and they have a blast recording quick videos. The camera works on both Notebook and my large LCD monitor and the built in microphone has excellent sound quality. The image quality is first rate, the best I have seen in any webcam.
