The Camera has amazing capabilities and works right out of the box. It has great auto focus functions, automated light settings and a very good microphone/sound settings. And it even comes with a lot of extra software options.
The handle/foot is optimized to hang/ balance on a flat screen - and so, it works very well on my laptop, but doesn't really fit my big old CRT screen, where it mostly just lay on top - So I had to tape it to keep it from moving.
But that's all minor - My biggest concern is that the very good picture quality is too heavy for the bandwidth of most of my online conferences. So I end up using the lowest and simplest picture quality settings anyway.

Have found the quality if image excellent. Mounts well on Flat screen monitor. Easy install. Now if Logitech sends the rebate everything will be great.

I love my new Logitech webcam. It gives a great clear picture plus it has fun features where I can skype as a dinosaur, alien, cat etc. and the mouth and eyes move when mine does. it is so great to be able to see my son in another city, my daughter and family on the other side of the country, my nephew in another state and especially my cousin in Scotland.

I cannot even install the driver. When I call the support, I was told the CD with the package is wrong CD (never heard this kinds stories before). Then I was told to download another version from their site, and the installation cannot go through. Their answer is I need to contact Microsft and Dell. The fact is my PC with XP professional and without problems with other products. When I asked 'May I talk to your supervisor?', I was given a coporate number, funny thing is it is a wrong number again.

great picture and video quality. only downside is clamping device for unit to laptop lid. clamp works but not really solid attachment. easily dislodged. software is easy to use and has some nice fun features. skype sign up available for video phone call setup. face tracking feature is nice for those that cannot sit still. avitar feature is fun for those that aren't in the mood to be seen on camera. overall, a very, very good camera at a fair price.
