I bought mine at a grocery store awhile back. It works great, but I'm not sure its accurate. I had an older pedometer, different brand, and when I wore them both at the same time, the Omron pedometer was way ahead of the other as far as steps. While this is great, I'm just not sure I really walked that many steps, or if maybe the other one was inaccurate. Anyway, it's very convenient in that it resets itself every day, stays on really well, and keeps a 7 day history. Certainly not bad for the money.

Bought this one as a gift for a lady and have received no complaints on it's use. It evidently functions as it should.
Good pedometer, hard to set July 4, 2007

When I first got the pedometer, I had to measure my stride length, enter my weight and I think my height, too, and that was hard to set. Then I had to take a hundred steps to meausre it''s accuracy, which was terrible, so I set the sensitivity switch to the lowest setting. I'm not sure if it was completely accurate, though. Usually, if I took 10 steps it might say 15. But I still thought it was good, and it counted the calories I burned, too. I just kept the sensitivity low to keep it accurate. Then, one day, when I was at my daughters school, the clip broke and the pedometer fell off. So that was the end.
 Worked great... for a month July 3, 2007
I used this every day and it seemed to b working great. Then about a month after I got the pedometer, it just stopped counting steps.
I would have given it just one star, but like I said, it seemed to work great for the short period of time that it did work.

I bought this pedometer because I began walking during my lunch breaks at work (my building has an outdoor/open parking garage, which I walk laps around). Unlike on the treadmill at the gym, I wasn't sure how many miles I was walking, nor how many calories I was burning. Simply by clipping it to my belt, this pedometer is able to tell me miles walked, calories burned, fat burned and steps taken. The instructions included were also very simple. I was able to ascertain my gate (to accurately measure distance) and easily enter my weight (to accurately measure calories - - the instructions even include a gender/age chart to further pinpoint calories burned). What's more, the built-in clock resets my workout data every night at midnight - - so it's ready to go the next day from zero (not to mention you can review previous workouts too). I've only had it a few weeks, so I can't really comment on battery life, but so far, this pedometer is doing exactly as advertised and for the money, I believe it was quite a deal.
