4 out of 5 stars Great Product!   April 20, 2007

This is my first pedometer and I love it! It's accurate, lightweight and easy to program. My only problem is I can't figure out how to turn it off. I'm concerned that the pedometer won't operate properly when the battery gets too low--any ideas as to how long the battery lasts?

4 out of 5 stars Better than most   April 19, 2007

I owned one of these for about a year before losing it on a walk. If you check the accuracy by counting paces and use the adjustment then it is very accurate. It not only counts steps to within a couple percent, but doesn't add excessive steps while sitting at a desk. A minor downside is that the battery died sooned than I expected, but the biggest fault is the clip. It is fairly solid, but does not accomodate a belt as the clip wants to close thinner than that, so it tends to ride up on a belt and can eventually pop off. Note; it counts very well on a belt, which most cheapy units don't. Anyway, on a long walk last week it finally popped off without my noticing it. A clip and strap would help that.

Overall it is very good, the aerobic steps feature is nice, and on Amazon it is about half what I originally paid for it. I will probably go for the pocket model now, although I like the compact size of this unit. I just have to find a strap for it.

Not very accurate, spend your money on the Orman HJ112,very accurate and gives more info.

4 out of 5 stars Great for the Price   April 16, 2007
Pros: small, lightweight, attaches well, protected from accidental resetting by closed case, accurate ( but counter sensitivity needs occasional checking)

Cons: it fell into water briefly, once, and died. The aerobic step counter stops timing if you stop a couple of times or change directions a lot.

Over all it's accurate and works very well, also has good instructions (a rare treat). It's a great bargain, especially for me, as I lose these things sooner or later.

5 out of 5 stars great   April 13, 2007
It is light weight doesn't easily break. One review said that it doesn't count steps correctly, but it really does if you follow the instructions. It has only ever been off on my steps by 1 to 3 steps.
