This book light is much better than the previous light I had. It is brighter and takes triple A batteries which are much easier and cheaper to obtain. My last book light was lighter than the Mighty Bright, but it took two of the small silver batteries. They cost fifteen dollars to replace and only last about two weeks. I will gladly put up with a little extra weight in order to not spend fifteen dollars every two weeks.

I have macular degeneration and require maximum light to enable me to read at home or while travelling, I have tried 10-12 different lights and found the Mighty Bright to be the brightest and easiest to use. It is flexible, light weight and the clip works extremely well.
The combination of my just-purchased Kindle...love it!.. and the Mighty Bright may keep me reading much longer!!

This light works very well and is easy to use. It has two brightness levels, the flexible neck makes it easy to adjust so there is no reflection from the surface of the Kindle, and it clips easily onto the cover of the Kindle when it is folded back. Some reviews complained that this light is not uniquely designed for the Kindle, but regardless of that, it works with it well. I have not used it with other books or as a stand-alone light, but is should be fine for those uses too. Compared to several other book lights I have purchased in the past, I like this one the best.

Three days after receiving this light it fell apart. Not worth the money to ship it back. Buyer beware!!!!
Exceptional Product - Exceeds expectations July 30, 2008
I ordered this light for my Kindle and I am extremely pleased. It has two powers so if you like a more subtle light it has a low setting. I highly recommend this to anyone who needs to read a book in the dark at home, in the car, or anywhere.
