Not For TomTom 920 June 30, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This does everything it claims to do, but just doesn't work with TomTom 920 because of the short mounting neck supplied with the GPS. The short neck doesn't allow the 920 to swivel downward enough to clear the outside of the dash pad. As another reviewer said it's almost parallel with the dash pad. Also the power connector is a right angle toward the pad so that causes further difficulties. I am able to place the pad on a center console/arm rest that allows me to see it very well. The suction cup stays on if you use alcohol wipes on both the dash pad and suction cup.
Great Price! Great Product! June 30, 2008 This thing is a perfect match for my Nuvi 200W. Doesn't slip or slide, leaves no tell-tale rings on the windshield, and as an added bonus it slides forward enough to make a sun shade for the MFD (Multi Function Display) on my Toyota Prius.
Can you say, stays in place! June 30, 2008 I purchased the dash pad to hold my GPS system. I love it! Once the pad is placed on the dash, it holds the device nicely AND it stays in place. I made a few sharp turns and the pad didn't budge.
Wise purchase on my part!
Good item June 29, 2008 The item is exactly what I wanted and the price was cheaper than the local discount store. I didn't want the GPS hanging from the window and this makes is portable and hidden when not in use. I also use it for my ezpasss when I use it in a car without a holder.
Perfect GPS Mount June 28, 2008 For me, this is the perfect GPS mount. It sits on the dash and never moves. When I am going to be out of sight of the car, I just take the whole thing and tuck it behind the passenger seat under a towel and no one but me knows I even have a GPS unit. Remember, one of the keys to having your car secure is not having tempting items in sight of the crooks. With this, you take your GPS away in an instant. And you can move it from car to car when ever you want.
