5 out of 5 stars BUY THESE SPEAKERS!!!   September 16, 2008
I researched a million things before buying this product. It was a little more than what I wanted to spend but sooo worth the money. I never write reviews but I had to on this. It is INCREDIBLE!! The actual speakers charge tehmselves so you can unplug the speakers and take them outside even without a plug. They are sturdy unlike a lot of other cheap ones I have seen. I am so glad that I spent the money. If you are even considering a set of speakers - look noi further. I am a very picky person - even more so when it comes to my music. They are amazing!!

4 out of 5 stars Great for price, one drawback   September 15, 2008
I got one of these on amazon for my dad and then saw the price at Sam's Wholesale. $76 at sam's! I bought another a couple days ago to be the more mobile version of our pure-fi elite, which is a powered system with no battery with MUCH better sound than the others I've listened to.

Only con with this one is the buttons on the actual unit are VERY hard to press. Using the remote is much easier. Range is a little lacking (about 15 feet) but works great.

3 out of 5 stars Not as good as I expected...   September 15, 2008
I have the first generation (I think the MM-50(white)) one of these and I loved it! I decided to upgrade to a supposedly better one. After listening to this new one, I am really not happy. It doesnt even sound better than my old, cheaper one. The only plus is that the remote has more funtions on it and the charger packs away with the unit. I highly recommend going for the older one which is half price, unless you really need the color black.

5 out of 5 stars Great product   September 10, 2008
It's a great product, not only because of its sound, but because you are able to carry on with you to everywhere, and because of the rechargable batteries. And it obviously have a perfect size!

5 out of 5 stars Best product for the Money   September 10, 2008
I absolutely love my Pure-Fi. Now you can't compare this to a Bose $400 system. But the sound quality is good, especially for the price. It is portable has decent volume. I hook it up to my laptop to listen to Pandora or Slacker. The battery life is very good. Plugged in it will also charge your IPOD while playing it. The remote works well. Overall there is nothing I would change about my Pure-Fi. $100 well spent.
