Love it! September 9, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I wanted to scan hundreds of old slides for a digital frame, and this machine did a fantastic job. Set up very quickly and easily; worked immediately. Had to return an iConvert scanner because I never could get that to work. Highly recommend this item!

Just what we wanted September 6, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
My wife wanted this product to organize old photos (some dating back to the 1920's) for a family reunion in August 08. She was able to improve the quaility and organize them for all to view. This machine is quite a unit.
Amazing scanner for old photos ! September 6, 2008 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
I just got this today, and I'm simply blown away. I had to archive a lot of faded family pictures from 30-40 years ago, and I was getting terrible results with my old scanner (streaking, bad colors, etc.), so I bit the bullet on this scanner based on the Amazon recommendations. WOW, is this thing amazing - the "Fading correction" image correction is beyond words - it makes these terribly faded, yellow pictures look like they were taken recently. Very fast as well.

This product delivered as advertised. I use it to scan my 35mm slides. At 1200 dpi, it takes 30 seconds per slide. I scanned some slides at 4800 dpi, but couldn't see any difference between it and the 1200 dpi.
