5 out of 5 stars Good Drive in a Small Package   September 23, 2008
Used this drive on three PC's. No issues at all. It might die/lock up tomorrow, but so far it has been great! Used Ghost 2003 to image outside the OS.
Would like to have a three-year warranty instead of one year.

4 out of 5 stars REFORMAT this baby to NTFS before first use   September 22, 2008
This 250gb HD is in a beautiful little package. I picked it up to replace a WD passport that started making the noise of death after 18 months ... and it then proceeded to die. While I don't expect external drives to last forever, given that I only used the passport 1 or 2 times a week, I didn't consider replacing the portable HD with another passport. I came back to my old friend Iomega, and I am happy I did.

Easy to use right out of the box. But don't forget to reformat this puppy from FAT32 to NTFS!

A license for back-up sofware from EMC (Retrospect Express) came in my package, but I prefer to use (free) SyncToy.

4 out of 5 stars Excellent Value   September 22, 2008
Great value for the price. Works fine, looks nice, and didn't cost a lot. Use it to back up my photos and music, works perfectly and have not run into any problems yet. Very pleased.

5 out of 5 stars Great portable hard drive   September 21, 2008
It's light, quiet and everything else it's advertised to be. And it looks good too.
