2 out of 5 stars Dont waste your money.   July 9, 2008

This armband looks nice but was way too small for my arms. I ended up stitching on a 4" piece of velcro to get it to close up properly. And because the material does not stretch at all, its either too loose or too tight. And dont even think about wearing this to the gym. It's only "good" for running. I read the reviews on here but chose to ignore them. Now I wish I didnt.

1 out of 5 stars Idiotic Design   July 6, 2008

I want some of whatever the Belkin engineers are smoking, because this thing is IDIOTICALLY designed. Belkin owes me $150 bucks to buy a new ipod nano...

...basically, the armband backing is a really porous, stretchy material. So when you go running (like you do with an armband) and sweat, the sweat soaks through the back and onto the ipod. The front is a completely non-porous plastic, so it doesn't let the sweat evaporate out. Consequently, your ipod nano drowns in sweat after running for about 20 minutes; a week of running later, it starts making cracking noises and is completely unresponsive to button presses. Kinda sucks

The apple engineers were able to get this right, but apparently the Belkin guys never tested the product in the field.

Oh, and a key pocket? Really? As if running shorts haven't had those since the 80's?

4 out of 5 stars good buy   June 30, 2008
it is a good buy. It is a really secure feeling armband, even when i am running.

Still, it is very hard to control your ipod with the plastic screening on, but if you have a good playlist, you would have no problems.

1 out of 5 stars Garbage!   June 27, 2008

Don't waste your money. In under 1 month of light usage the armband fell apart. The front cover became separated from the armband itself. This thing would not be worth it at half the price.

4 out of 5 stars Practical and Inexpensive   June 24, 2008
This band suits its purpose for my ipod. It is inexpensive and pretty comfortable considering a band wrapped tightly around your arm can only be so comfortable! I do have a small arm though so I don't know how it would fit a grown, muscular man. I do also find that I need to thread the headphones through the band to avoid getting caught up in it which leaves an itchy mark on your skin afterward. Oh well, what do you expect? Like I said practicality is all I was seeking, so I am pleased.
