4 out of 5 stars iTouch Performance   August 23, 2008

Fantastic user interface. Lousy battery life. Great music quality. Really easy to use. Functionality is real complete. However, stupid to have to connect to PC to charge. Apple needs to provide a wall and car charger for the money they charge.

5 out of 5 stars Attractive, Functional, Elegant, and a full on PDA replacement...   August 23, 2008
This is one of the greatest products I've ever owned right next to the iPhone. It's ridiculously speedy and surprisingly different from the iPhone. It's not just an iPhone without the phone. Somehow it just feels completely different, even though it's basically the same. Maybe it's the fact that there is no cell network it can join, so it feels faster because it can only connect to faster Wi-Fi. It's smaller in all dimensions, especially thinness. It's ludicrously thin, almost unbelievable. If you Jailbreak it you can block ads and bootleg applications. The only, ONLY cons I can think of are that it has no microphone, and the edges are so sharp that it digs into your hand a little bit and doesn't feel so nice.

1 out of 5 stars Reach out and touch someon, but not the I-Touch   August 22, 2008

I bought my I-Touch to mainly get online at an open wireless location, but it had difficulty getting online, even at my own house where I have three computers connected to a wireless home network....? It would sometimes connect, but mostly not. I sent it back....!

1 out of 5 stars Apple is not committed to after sales support/warranty protection   August 22, 2008

Like millions of others that were drawn by the Apple Iphone, I bought mine in Aug '07 and in addition to the phone purchased a 3 yr (extended) warranty plan. A few days ago my phone stopped working altogether and when I took it to the Apple store, I was told that the phone was water damaged as indicated by the indicator. Therefore my warranties would not hold and I would have to buy a new phone. I found that to be a ridiculous technical judgement (and service) because having owned the phone I know that the worst case contact with water could be a slight drizzle that escaped from the sides of an umbrella. And that is expected to be weathered by any phone. My blackberry never failed me all these years!

Why would I ever buy an Apple product when today I lost all faith in the company. I believe they are cheating millions of people with a product that looks cool without honoring their commitments to repair faulty devices. They even hire 'cool' looking people at the store. For what? It's all about looks...looks that cloak bad customer service. Today I also realized another thing - I know the IPhone will not last as the hottest selling phone...It lacks what the Blackberry and Nokia learnt long ago - good customer service

5 out of 5 stars Touch This   August 22, 2008

The Ipod Touch that I own cannot be beaten by any other mp3's, period. A lot of people have complained and moaned that they were in one way or another disappointed. I cannot really explain why this is a common complaint. While I must admit my irritation towards the 32 GB Ipod Touch that recently came out months earlier prior to my purchase of this beautifully crafted mp3. While not perfect this particularly this model some include:

*Sometimes when I move the circle to turn it up it really screws up
*It can screw up my calendar and change it so that I have to manually change it back
*Sometimes it has loading issues

I purchase the updates twice and now the Ipod Touch has applications that you can purchase or received them for free. It really breathes new live into this Ipod making it that more entertaining and awesome. I mean I have truly enjoyed this mp3 and I do not want people thinking it is really bad. Because I owned a Zune before and I really didn't like it but this Ipod is really great.

*You can watch youtube videos, if you find something bookmark. If you are a youtuber and you have a few videos see them on your Ipod. Yet I wish you could manage your youtube account but it was put in place.
*The applications are varied and some are great like Tap Tap Revenge it gives you a option so you could download new tracks for free. It gave me new found faith in apple. Also they have myspace and more apps that make this Ipod the ultimate machine.

I cannot express my happiness with this product without going into deep conversation but take my word for it it is a great mp3 player.
