4 out of 5 stars pretty good keyboard   August 28, 2008
I really like the keyboard. It is not squishy/creaky like Microsoft brand keyboards. It produces a satisfying, if understated click on each keystroke. The sound/feel is not as crisp as lapton keyboards, but close enough for my liking.

As for the mouse... meh. It is better than the cheapest of cat-food, but I already own an MX Revolution (fantastic for productivity and web-based applications) and I use my MX 518 for gaming. So, after a little bit of messing around, I took the batteries out of the mouse that accompanied this keyboard (but it keeps the other two company on my desk).

By the way, if you are looking to combine this keyboard with a more advanced mouse, you WILL need both USB receivers. Lame.

1 out of 5 stars Rebate was not honored   August 14, 2008

First of all, I've had no trouble with the keyboard and mouse. They both work well and look nice.

My problem is that a rebate I mailed in May was not honored. Today, 3 months later, I received an email saying that the item was not purchased within the time frame of the rebate. I have mailed out at least a dozen rebates in the past four or five years, and they have all been processed and redeemed without any trouble. I have heard the horrors of rebates; so I check my submissions at least five times before mailing. I think when the rebate was being processed, someone looked at a ship date or delivery date instead of the buy date.

In the future, I will not take into consideration the rebate when deciding whether I should buy a Logitech product.

5 out of 5 stars Logitech Wireless products   August 14, 2008
Outstanding product. Lives up to all it's claims and doesn't mention a host of other benefits.

1 out of 5 stars Good design, can't turn off some anoying features, battery life is subpar   August 7, 2008
I found that this product had way too many features, like the tactile zoom function on the keyboard, I kept hitting it by accident and it kept zooming until I turned it off. Also the battery life on both the keyboard and mouse only lasted a month to two months at a time before needing to replace the batteries.

5 out of 5 stars Very comfortable, ergonomic design   August 7, 2008
- Keys are soft and comfortable
- Mouse grip fits hand nicely
- Wireless connection is pretty reliable
