1 out of 5 stars The world's most expensive headset: don't let the low price fool you.   July 28, 2008
My wife and I both purchased this headset around the same time. Hers stopped working after about 6 weeks, and mine after about 8 weeks. In both cases, it was the USB connector that went bad. Since Amazon's refund policy is 30 days, we each paid $35 for (at most) 60 days of use. That's over $.50 per day, which probably makes this the most expensive headset you can buy. I used to be a huge LogiTech fan (as you can see from my other reviews), but the firm has obviously been taken over by con artists who are using the very cheapest parts they can find. I've sworn off the LogiTech label completely after this experience. Other reviews here have mentioned that the USB connector on this headset is of very low quality, and quickly falls apart, but you'll probably have trouble with that USB plug long before it falls apart. I have 3 USB ports on my laptop: this headset's USB plug only worked on one of them before it stopped working altogether.

5 out of 5 stars Headset working wonderfully   July 26, 2008
We received the product in the mail and started using it a couple of weeks ago. It has great sound quality, and we are very satisfied with it.

1 out of 5 stars Cheap construction - be very careful or stay away!   July 23, 2008
Like other reviewers have noted, the USB connection is not robust. Mine was destroyed within 1 week, after an accidental light tug that a normal 3.5mm plug would have survived.

I was satisfied with all aspects of the headset until this happened. So if you're very careful and won't accidentally tug the chord, they are still a good choice.

5 out of 5 stars Good choise for starting podcaster   July 23, 2008
I very like this product. The average noise level is about to -36dB which I cannot compare to -18db from my previous noname headset.
The headphones material is also great, I was using the subject more than 5 hours in a row, but my ears do not feel tired a bit. A little bit dissapointed with the mic switch: blinking/shining light doesn't look so informative as on/off

4 out of 5 stars Good Quality, Great Price   July 17, 2008

This headset has the quality you would expect from a mid-range priced headset, you get what you pay for. It works great; good quality speakers, good quality microphone w/ noise cancellation, slightly uncomfortable when used for long periods (I mean LONG periods)... but definitely not a deal breaker.

I use them all the time for Rosetta Stone and chatting while playing PS3 and have never had a problem. Would recommend for somebody looking for a headset that will get the job done and last a while (this thing is built sturdy), but doesn't want to go all out on price.

4 out of 5 because nothing is perfect.
