A LITTLE "WEAK" IN ENDURANCE !! July 18, 2008 After a year, the unit started shutting off, the least little touch of the rocker switch would bring it back to life for a short time !! Monster said they would replace it--$4.75 to ship back and would have to buy an interim unit !! But, hey all things wear out, but the Monster reputation takes a hit with this one !!
A Piece of @#$&* July 16, 2008 That's what this so-called power strip is. Like others have mentioned, I could not fit ONE plug of any of my electronic equipment into the outlets. Not one! To those who gave this product anything other than a 1 star you must not have purchased the same product because unless you want to damage the plugs on your good audio/video equipment this strip is a piece of expletive-deleted!!
I was initially attracted by the brightly color-coded outlets which match my living room decor but after trying it out and finding not one well-fitted outlet, I consider myself out of $13.00 cuz you can't repackage this piece of expletive-deleted and send it back.
I got a better deal from a 99cent store. Monster ought to be ashamed of themselves for selling such a piece of expletive-deleted.!!!
Inferior Specification June 29, 2008 This so-called protector can withstand merely 420 joules. Even a $2 power strip sold at a famous Swedish furniture store offers more protection (740 joules) than that. I see no reason why this product should be made at all, not to mention why it should be charged at such a high price.
Don't Waste Your Money June 14, 2008 After taking almost an hour to cut through the plastic casing this was packaged in, I couldn't believe I couldn't fit any plug into the outlets, despite putting my full body weight into the effort. Upon calling the manufacturer, I was told that yes, it is, at first, very difficult to plug anything in!
Monster Cable May 6, 2008 This works great, espically with AC adaptors. Pretty colorful for something you may want to hide. Great price too.
