Perfect Mount at a Great Price July 14, 2008
This is just a great product all around. For starters, it's a solid, well built mount. The instructions are easy to follow and the packaging is the best I've ever seen; all nuts, bolts, washers, etc...are seperated, packaged and clearly labeled. Once(easily)installed, the mount worked perfectly. Lastly, Amazon's price cannot be beat; a comparable mount at an electronics store is going to cost you 2 to 3 times as much. Extremely happy with purchase.
A terriffic TV wall mount bracket July 10, 2008
I can't recommend this wall mount highly enough. It's extremely well made, very easy to install with the enclosed hardware, and very inexpensive compared to comparable models. The tilt feature is great-- once the TV is mounted, the unit is so well balanced that you can tilt the TV up or down to any position and it stays in that position without even tightening the knob that holds it in place. Very convenient. I highly recommend getting a tilting bracket, since tilting the screen up or down just a little can eliminate light reflections that are otherwise bothersome.
Do your homework; compare this unit to others out there, and you will buy this one.
Sturdy, well thought out mount July 9, 2008
This is a great mount. It is sturdy, the tilt works well, it has a lot of installation flexibility in terms of mounting holes for the wall and tv, and it includes lots of screws to fit different tv's. Highly recommended!
Top of the line wall mount! July 6, 2008
After several days of debate with my wife, we decided to settle with a wall mount for our new Panasonic 50" Plasma TV. I made a quick trip to Best Buy and asked the sales rep. which mount was the best for a 50" Plasma. The rep. recommended Sanus over Best Buy's Init. I decided to make the purchase through Amazon and save $$$. Best Buy carries the exact same mount at double the cost.
The installment process is easy and keep in mind to have an extra set of hands to help lift the TV into place. I tested the wall plate after installing four lag screws into place. I grabbed the plate and hung in air for 30 seconds. Then I gave it a good tug. Enough to satisfy me. Sanus makes a great quality product (it has been one full week and my TV is fixed solid to the wall).
I had a concern with the 1st shipment. The 1st shipment arrive badly damaged, the FedEx Carrier recommended I have the item returned. I agreed. I called Amazon regarding the damages, and a rep. had another shipment processed for overnight delivery for the next day. I received the 2nd wall mount the next day in a larger box for extra protection. The same FedEx Carrier from the day before advised me to observe the contents, so I did. The 2nd shipment arrived in good state. I gave Amazon 5 stars for quick..convenient service, atop carrying a great product.

The Sanus VMPL50B worked like a charm with my Sony Aquos 42" LCD Flat Panel TV! It was easy to install. I followed all the instructions and it took me maybe 25 minutes, and that was taking my time so I got it done right. The swivel action is minor, but if you're more than 6' away it's all you need to get the perfect viewing angle from any heigth on the wall. Plenty of room above and below the mounting brackets, so you don't have to cut a circular hole within the bracket. I went ahead and cut a larger, square hole below the mounting bracket so I'd have an easier time feeding all the wires through. You can't see a thing from any distance, plently of room between the bottom of the mounting bracket and the bottom of the flat panel. Highly Recommended!!
